Author Biography
Norman Waterhouse is one of Britain’s most respected Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons. With over 35 years of experience, he has built an international reputation for excellence in facial rejuvenation and complex reconstructive surgery
A former Director of the Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Norman has also served as President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). His surgical career has taken him across the globe, operating on patients in both the reconstructive and aesthetic arenas.
In 2002 , he co-founded the charity Facing the World to provide surgery for children with facial anomalies, He qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1978, became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and obtained his specialist plastic surgery fellowship (FRCS Plast) in 1988.
Alongside his distinguished medical career, Norman has always been a passionate storyteller. A keen Latin scholar with a deep love of literature, he brings the same precision, insight, and understanding of human nature that define his surgical work to his writing.
Mirror Games is his debut novel — a dark psychological thriller that draws upon his unparalleled knowledge of plastic surgery and the complex relationship we have with our appearance.
Norman lives in London with his wife and is father to 4 children including musician Suki and the actor Immy.
