Meet Norman.
I enjoy talking about my work as a surgeon and my debut novel Mirror Games. If you are an events organiser for a festival or bookshop and would like me to speak, then please do get in touch.
On Writing
I have always been drawn to writing. I undertook a Creative Writing degree at Birkbeck which inspired me to finish Mirror Games. It is set in my world of London plastic surgery and the sport of Triathlon.
For my writing I draw on my knowledge of people and of course faces. As a surgeon I meet many different characters and these fuel my writing.
Writing a book is a new thing for me but it was a chance to engage with the things I know.
